Unable to setup emails on htc chacha

Recently I have purchased an htc chacha smartphone for myself. I just love the phone as it suits my requirements very well. My phone is working absolutely fine except the email thing. Actually I am not able to set up emails on my phone because of which I am upset. It is very annoying. I have tried setting up many times but it doesn’t happen. Whenever I try to do this I get an error message saying “cannot connect to the mail server to verify your account information” I don’t know what this is. Can anyone help me out to fix this issue? Well I am not sure how you are trying to do that. But I would like mention few steps here,
• Firstly tap on the Mail present on the Home screen of your phone.
• There Choose a mail provider screen, tap Other (POP3/IMAP).
• Enter the Email address and Password for your email account and then tap next.
• Enter the Account name and Your name and then tap Finish setup
I hope you get to setup the email now. Once you have used Mail, you can easily set up your email account right on your phone. I hope this helps.

Try to go to the Email server settings for outgoing emails and there try to change the Security measure to Transport Layer Security and also try to change the port number to 587. I think if you do this, you might be able use email.

I think you should contact the service provider to help you out. You just tell them that you are not able to setup the email thing and they will help you for the same. If service provider doesn’t help you then I would suggest you to let me know so that I can help you again.
