Canon EOS 1100D is best camera or go for another one

Good day the people, my mate kindhearted purchased me a Canon EOS 1100D with EF-S 18-55 IS II collection for my 30th birthday to relax and be spoiled and I doubted that anybody prescribed a distinctive picture digital camera to update to. I am willing about photography and was determined to get a camera myself be soon. I was intuition the 600D... I need something that is exceptional value takes fabulous representations and will final. Any thoughts could be relish! Thank you for your suggestion.
