Followings are the steps for unlocking Sony xperia arc bootloader

1. Download fastboot package and 32/64 bit drivers.
2. Click "Continue" and enter your IMEI
3. You should now acquire a distinctive unlock key
4. Open fastboot.rar and unzip it to fastboot,
5. Push down SHIFT and right click on the bottom of the folder
6. Open command window
7. Connect your phone to fastboot
8. In CMD type 0x0fce fastboot.exe-i version getvar version
9. The phone is connected appropriately, if you get any return value.
10. Type fastboot. Exe-i 0x0fce 0xKEY OEM unlock and replace Key with the key provided in step 4.
11. Device is now unlocked.

IMEIs are not registered for convinced operators. Only one part is the standard used for the detection of SEUS. Can I ask a question? "Unleashing the boot loader" refers to the root of the phone? And after this is done, we can use software’s that require root permissions? I am new to Android and know a little.

Releasing the bootloader will permit unsigned flashing firmware images on the cell phone. I'm not convinced if it automatically gives you right to use to the root, but soon to be customized firmwares with superuser etc Hope this information is useful and clears your doubt. Some tips when you are in final step in unlocking process .If you do not want to have failed message twice.

• Don’t copy / paste directly key in the DOS command
• make use of the Caps Lock when typing manually

As for backup, Backup & Restore SMS is ideal for backing up text messages. I’ve used three different terminal now and had zero problems.

For applications, backups, titanium is the best by a mile, but requires root access. Replace the bold part with your key: fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce OEM unlock 0xKEY

Can anyone help me today I have the bow trouble sim free but the bootloader unlocking I follow the instructions in the guide I put the phone in fastboot had no problem with the blue LED.this is what I get
