Starting after the OTA update seems to go forever. After a long time, (I cannot believe) that is not brick. Just call the battery and reinsert. This time, the reset will be done in a striking way. Now you will have a root 2.3.3.

Re: Root Xperia neo 2.3.3 with locked Bootloader

I started this, but after "which is a USB device” gave an error and told me to turn on the phone. But the phone will not turn on! Pulse power and not the small vibration, but nothing happens. All screens stay black. After doing some research I ordered extraordinary microUSB cable protected to be able to absolute the upgrade by means of SEUS without trailing the connection. About the flash, no luck. Always the same error asking trusted applications and debugging usb. Anybody who can explain me about this error. I will appreciate your efforts towards solving my doubt.

Re: Root Xperia neo 2.3.3 with locked Bootloader

I tried times and times (about 20 or 35) and, finally, flashing accomplished with no errors.
Honestly, it took many times as sometimes the computer does not recognize the phone, and I had to disconnect and reconnect the USB cable.

After that, he used a USB micro cable to do all the procedure as explained in the first issue and it was a success. Still have 3 or 4 errors, but I started again until it completes without error.

Now I am persuaded (after a number of experience in this Neo) that computers or dissimilar versions of Windows might have an influence on my laptop unless I have many errors on the desktop. Both with Windows 7. And in the last week, in XP my friend did flash at first, no errors at all.

Re: Root Xperia neo 2.3.3 with locked Bootloader

I have to disagree. i cannot use the root of my neo ginger break if unlocking the bootloader. if you use a different approach SuperOneClick, will give an error something like this: you cannot mount the system

    So what I did:
    1. unlock the bootloader.
    2. Ginger break run is less than 3 minutes rooting compared to bootloader locked, always keeping
    3. Close back the bootloader.
    4. Update.
    5. Now root 2.3.3 android is enabled.

If you have already unlocked the boot loader, why not just use Doom Lord core and flash the latest firmware? Anyway deleted the DRM files. So no point really gets to close unless of course.

Bootloader made in unlocking the first time for the reason that they want custom Flash ROM fastboot before knowing their roots can upgrade 2.3.2 to 2.3.3 devoid of losing access to root. Anyhow I do not think about about DRM because my digital content is not everything "right".

Re: Root Xperia neo 2.3.3 with locked Bootloader

I tried today to roots. Returned to version 2.3.2, root device with ginger break and rooting was flourishing.

Then I tried to update via OTA, but no luck, but I restarted the device and wait for it suggests on the first page, but nothing. Using Sues I upgraded to version 4.0 SE software, but the root does not work anymore. I’m afraid to wait to resolve this somehow.
