Screen upgrade not possible in Acer Aspire 6930G

I own a Acer Aspire 6930G and the it has a good screen. The model number of that screen is LTN160AT01, which contains the 1366x768 resolution display. I have directed to break this monitor. Nevertheless, i sought after to upgrade to complete HD, I’ve observed this laptop comes within 2 dissimilar resolutions, 1366x768 as well as Full HD 1920x1080. Therefore i bought a LTN160HT01 which is the 1920x1080 display and fitted it but it didn’t worked well. I've heard that the display might be mismatched? Or is the display presently defective? The display as well changes color and so on. I don’t think that the cable is defective here.

A friend who has the Acer Aspire 5930 with 8600m gt has the same problem and pointed out to me that the areas where the monitor is flickering occur more transparent windows aero! He has windows vista, because I 7 I bought the CD upgrade from acer, and today I have noticed that something is true, I opened Internet Explorer 8 Well on the web page completely normal, transparent windows on all the red dots- purple. So do not know what to think, could also be the graphics card at this point and not the monitor.

You have to know is what was used and found suitable for the display or a compatible replacement. If the Acer laptop screen is not obviously defective, must be tested beforehand. If the backlight is faulty ACER laptop displays, you could replace the lamp itself. The replacement of the defective backlight display in the Acer is not entirely without. Firstly, there is almost clean-room conditions to prevent dust between the screen layers is then exactly the right tube and even small parts to the screen again to close correctly implemented.

A repair is beyond question is clear from the specialist, which is worth almost never in notebooks.

Replace the LCD screen on the Acer Aspire 5738G series. In this tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the LCD screen.
    • Remove the battery and hard drive in our notebook for security reasons.
    • Disconnect the wires of the 'wireless antenna in order to remove the screen as we shall see later.
    • To replace the LCD panel, entire screen must be removed from the notebook the, at the risk of turbot and cover the frame hinges. So we remove the mask that is attached to joint without pulling over...

The replacement of defective display cover is an important contribution to the extension of the Acer Aspire notebook life. For if you will wait too long to get your display destroyed. It can even lead to mechanical destruction of the lower housing part. Broken Acer Travel Mate laptop screen lid must be replaced. The cause of a defective Acer laptop screen cover is different, but the effect is always unpleasant. Usually only one side of the Acer Aspire Travelmate notebook is affected, but the entire lid must be replaced. The design of the display lid is very different and it must be ordered for almost any notebook Acer Aspire another lid. Unfortunately, some manufacturers have not thought that perhaps the odd lid must be replaced.

First, it is not clear whether you have warranty on it. Speaking of which my speakers is the State-fixed guarantee. This is at most electronics products two years, yes. Unfortunately not occur six months, the burden of proof in effect, this means you have to prove that this defect is not caused by personal negligence, or the defect had been there already when you buy the notebook. I would return the laptop, but definitely try first, since the charge is for you. And with any luck you'll get the laptop repaired and must not take it upon yourself expensive repairs. Insurance fraud in my eyes is a delicate matter, but a little white lie might be profitable in this case, maybe.

Before replacing the handset is removed from the LCC monitors the monitor and is controlled by the backlight lamp that has a lower cost of the entire monitor. You must also check whether the laptop by connecting an external monitor to the VGA allows you to see the image. If the signal is present on the external monitor then proceeds to search for the original or equivalent replacement LCD.

    continuing from last message,
again, do some research on the cables. perhaps 2 channel LVDS vs 1 channel LVDS (the competing interface is TTL but i think its LVDS), although i havnt seen cables advertised this way, making it harder to get a cable for the high res display, even if its second hand. or just get another screen, but you are in an excellent position to do research on this as there is little info on this, but i guess you want to get the thing running as fast as possible for least cost, which does usually rule out expirimenting...

dell has product codes on all its bits including the cable, maybe you can track down the higher res counterpart.

first message is this "According to a service manual SAMSUNG 16" WUXGA Glare LTN160HT01-A02 is supported however you need a dual LVDS for full HD LCD and only single LDVS for so called HD Ready (your old LCD)
That may be the root of the problem."
