HDD Upgrade for Acer Aspire 8935G

Right now I am looking for upgrading my Acer Aspire 8935G. However I don’t know which components can be upgradable in this. Does anyone know about this? I recognize the understandable similar to HDD as well as RAM but whatever thing else? Does anybody recognize what size of HDD's fit among 10mm as well as 12mm; I believe that is the 2 sizes of HDD you can purchase? Does anybody recognize if the 8935G is restricted to the less significant HDD's or not.

    • Make sure the size, height above the disk: 9.5 or 12.5 millimeters.
    • Ensure the interface used. It is probably SATA2, but ... better to know with complete certainty.
    • Rotating disk: some of 7,200, 5,400 and 4,200 rpm. The most commonly used in laptops are of 5,400 rpm, though at a higher speed, higher performance and more expensive they are. We must also note that use more energy, and with 7,200 rpm. Turning often all of 12.5 millimeters in height.
    • Manufacturer: the vast majority of users will not notice differences between one and the other, although such a comparison wide from a multitude of 2.5-inch drives.
    • Capacity: the elderly are currently 500 GB, and leave for about 120 euros.

You can only update RAM, HDD and heatsink. Furthermore you can install SSD. The processor is a different factor because it needs a BIOS upgrade sometimes.

Notebooks High Definition (HD) represent a certain interest to all users, since they can combine in one product a player high-definition Blu-Ray with a Full HD screen, in addition to features offered by a traditional laptop.

This is an important opportunity for consumers, who have provided only a small proportion of screens and Full HD TVs and still less than Blu-Ray. Initially, during the second quarter, Acer will market two new models of laptops with Blu-ray, the one from the other 16-inch and 18.4-inch , capable of supporting full HD resolution. The screens have a 16:9 aspect ratio, suitable for high definition, and will be manufactured by Samsung.

The SSD market has made enormous strides. Besides constantly falling prices, the performance increases with each generation. The children's diseases to be cured slowly and thus are already recommending SSDs as an alternative to current HDDs in notebook. One advantage of SSDs over HDDs of the position-independent read and writes speed. HDDs have to be inside reading a lot slower and written by the disk structure has the disadvantage that the data can be outside of the plate.

Sometimes when a hard disk indicates the format: 2.5 inches or 3.5 inches. The difference is (except of course in the physical size) in the type of device for which the hard disk is suitable. A 2.5-inch hard drive fits into a laptop in size, while a 3.5-inch hard drive suitable for installation in a desktop PC.

There are some details missing on your part, but more on that later. It should fit in virtually any 2.5 "drive, since the length and width are standardized, only the amount you have to be careful, there are a few boards that are a little flat, because it depends on whether you fit in , or (more rarely) you so need a flat plate. 5V/1A incidentally is operating voltage and power consumption. The tension must be the same, the current consumption should not be, but may be less happy.

4200rpm is the rotation speed of the plate - the more turns, the faster it is basically. There are plates (for notebooks) with 4200, 5400 and 7200 revolutions. What speed should have the new album is basically not care, that's up to you. Are commonly used in notebook computers but a bit slower drives (i.e. 4200 or 5400), because the faster are also somewhat more sensitive to shocks in the operation. It may be that at the current plates no longer carries weight, because I might not be quite up to date. But you should find out before we determine whether a new disk is recognized by their size in your laptop. For older devices, it could otherwise give any problems, but need not be.
