    Lenovo i7 X220 Graphic performances

My inquiry could be particularly straightforward to you specialists, so please help me. The proposed are the Windows Experience Index consequences on my Lenovo i7 X220 (4286-CTO), on a 65W capacity connector:
    Processor: 7.1
    Memory (RAM): 7.5
    Graphics: 5.7
    Gaming graphics: 6.1
    Primary hard disk: 7.6 (SSD)
Is the realistic effect exceptional? Why it is safe to say that it is beneath the different outcomes?

I just have the i5, yet it in any case gives a sufficient reference: I am equipped to play HalfLife 2: Episode One (reasonably mandating recreation) with the movie settings set to heightened at 1920x1200 and get about 40-50 fps dependably. The coordinated representations do appear to battle with certain impacts (e.g. movement obscure or heightened AA settings). I have additionally done some quite short tests in blender 3D and my x220 seems, by all accounts, to have the capacity to handle moderately elevated polygon numbers without repulsive challenge. Notwithstanding regarding that the x220 was likely not outlined with gaming in brain, it does particularly well.

Re: Lenovo i7 X220 Graphic performances

I have perceived motion pictures identified with it on YouTube and found that it has lost a small graphical display subsequent to, which I might perhaps get back in the event that I shutdown some stuff. The display lost is undoubtedly receivable to relocating more of my programming improvement instruments from my old x60. Then again, I hold an outer representation card, so I try not to observe the same amount. I am in the chase for an exceptional cost on "Dirt 3" for the PC. I cannot recognize it in the nearby stores. Microsoft's Market Place, which I am able to download from, needs 50$ for the event. Late Egg makes a point not to have it. Steam has the same cost. It appears love comforts get more regard this day’s recreation canny. Since you need, I would be able to try for an exceptional score Windows Experience Index without the outer film card. I could note that my hard drive is totally encrypted, so I would not be able to score as towering in that zone.

I got just about the same score when I utilized the 65W connector on i7.
    • Processor: 7.1
    • Memory (RAM): 7.5
    • Graphics: 5.0
    • Gaming graphics: 6.1
    • Primary hard disk: 7.4

    -------------------------------------------------------------------
Nonetheless, when I utilized the 90W (non-thin) connector, I got
    • Processor: 7.1
    • Memory (RAM): 7.5
    • Graphics: 6.3
    • Gaming graphics: 6.3
    • Primary hard disk: 7.4

WEI might be shift about 0.1-0.2 on the same framework at a certain point, but the bouncing from 5.0 to 6.3 is originating from throttling issue.

Consistent with my information for i7 you ought to run WEI with 90W capacity connector. The 65W connector will have throttling situation consequence in more level WEI score.

I get the same consequence with the BIOS 1.19 with my 65 watts and my 90 watts connector. So I speculate they have settled the situation. So don't waste your cash on a 90 watts connector (mine went with the docking). With the BIOS 1.17 my realistic was at 5.1 with the 65 watts. When I max out my CPU, temp runs over up to 96C, I think its all around blazing, 65C out of gear.

    ThinkPad X220, I7 2620M, 8GB RAM, Intel 320 160GB SSD, IPS screen, USB 3.0, Bluetooth, Cam, Win 7 master 64, BIOS: 1.17, Model: 4286-CTO.

It's hazardous to sum up from a lone information indicate-1.19 hasn't altered the situation for me, as noted in my prior post in this string.

When v1.20 stated to send on revamped frameworks, there is nothing of any substance that contrasts betwixt v1.19 and v1.20. There are a few minor spelling failures in the assistance message in v1.19, so they may have fixed that or something comparable.

My i7 X220 has a 65 watt connector. I get CPU and GPU throttling in longer test runs (10-20 moments) as recognized in OCCT and Winfo side-by-side.

    Code:
    My Win Experience Index:
    7.1
    7.5 8 GB RAM)
    6.2
    6.2
    7.6 Lenovo (Samsung) 128GB SSD
