Blackberry Torch 9860 or Torch 9810

I am looking forward to buy a new Blackberry smartphone but I stuck on Choosing which BB. Now I am using HTC Desire (android OS). I want to get the BB, mostly for the calendar in addition to emails along with better battery life. Do you think that the display on the Torch 9800 (9810) huge enough and is that keyboard inside the 9800 worth having otherwise should I obtain 9860 while it becomes obtainable?

Re: Blackberry Torch 9860 or Torch 9810

The 9810 will have a 3.2 inch touchscreen, a 1.2 GHz processor (600 MHz against his older brother), a 5MP camera and 8GB of internal memory. The real progress comes from a new NFC chip that can transfer data faster than Bluetooth. Aesthetically speaking, we are in the development of the first Torch, simple, compact and efficient.

Regarding 9860, it was a bit of news. The Torch completely abandons the aesthetic of its predecessor and brother, to go on a shape resembling that of most current smartphones. Acquiring a touch screen with no physical keyboard, it's actually the first touchscreen BlackBerry 100%! Under the hood, the beast locked up a 1.2 Ghz processor, 768 MB RAM, the BlackBerry OS 7 and 3.69 inch screen (resolution 800 × 480).

The purists of the brand can be cry foul, the other will be pleased to see "finally" BlackBerry is on the same level that Apple and its iPhone.

The BlackBerry 9860 Torch differ in terms of hardware, not from the Torch 9180, but these concerns a smartphone without a keyboard, so with a full control on the screen. The selection is up to you whether you need a touch screen based QWERTY keypad or other one.

In terms of performance, the 9810 Torch has improved a lot gone. What is striking is that the faster processor, combined with the new BlackBerry OS 7 and more RAM, the device is very pleasant to use. Many young people use the BlackBerry because of the many attempts. RIM itself is expected that both devices are quickly picked up by carriers in the range, because both models of hardware are exactly the same and thus both models can get the same approval. All in all, the 9860 Torch a handy device that quickly in use. The new screen looks very good, nice and work with new OS seems like a great solution to offer RIM to turn the tide.

Truthfully choice is completely depends on you. While I foremost got the torch 9800, I simply utilized the keyboard. Following some months of sliding the phone open plus closed I started using merely the virtual keyboard. Currently I encompass a phone that is larger than it requirements to be since I don't employ half of it.
