Is it possible to group Dell EqualLogic PS4000XV with PS4000E?

Last one month I have use this Dell EqualLogic PS4000XV SAN with RAID10 policy. Now I want to also use an Dell EqualLogic ps4000E with RAID50 policy. Can it possible to use this both the device together within same group. I also decided to install vmware vsphere 4.1 on it. I think that one partitions of a virtual machine is placed PS4000XV (10), and the other is to be the PS4000E (RAID50). Can this is possible. Any help will be appreciating.

The Dell EqualLogic PS4000 series arrays can be combined in a storage area network (SAN) group. Hence I think this can be possible but you need to carefully use this within the same group. I hope that it will be work and it solves your problem. If you have invested more money in an EqualLogic SAN, then this is necessary to use this both the san in the same group. Then do this task and hope that it solve your problem.

A separate VLAN on existing gigabit Ethernet switches to separate the iSCSI traffic from normal network traffic. Hence you need to perform an action that will be holds this device in same group but different partition of the virtual machine. It could be considered an entry level iSCSI SAN appliance. It also protects your data center investment with Dell ProSupport. You can have them in the same group and it will be really works to solve this complicated problem.

At the time of doing this task you need to believe that all featured caps are detached when a PS4000 series shares a storage pool with a legacy PS Series array. In this process for redundancy point, you can connect the SAN controller/port 0/0 and 1/1 to switch 0 and its related controller/port 0/1 and 1/0 to switch 1. 4

Yes, these two different switches help us to perform the required task in the correct manner. The different series Dell EqualLogic PS4000XV as well as PS4000E will be work on those two different switches. PS Series arrays come entire with a widespread set of advanced data protection and management software. It takes advantage of proactive problem avoidance, rapid response. Hence you need to use this kind of process and hopefully that it will be solve your problem. Then try this and locate the real performance of the virtual machine.
