Dell Optiplex GX260 shutdown automatically after 6 minutes

Hello I have bought the Dell Optiplex GX260 system and under that I have installed the windows XP operating system. Everything on the system working properly but recently after starting the system mine system will shut down within or after 6 minutes automatically. I don’t why this happening, now I don’t what to do and how to get ride the issue, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

There could be lots of reasons to laptop shutdown automatically. First I think your system overheating and so therefore your getting the issue and so I would like to suggest you to make sure your system not overheating. Secondly virus, I think your system infected with the virus and so therefore your system shutdown automatically and so therefore I would like to make scan on your system and after that make sure your system shutdown or not.

There could be virus issue as well and so therefore make scan on your system with the antivirus and after that make sure you’re facing the issue. secondly the FAN make sure your FAN working properly on your system, if your FAN not working then the overheating will cause the issue and after that your system will shutdown automatically.
