Can I charge Toshiba Thrive via USB port?

My father gave me Toshiba Thrive on my birthday. Its performance and functioning very well. I like this tablet very much; I have some questions on my mind that will It charge with USB port. If my charger if failed and not helps in charging the thrive then can I use the USB port to charge my thrive or it need o buy a new charger for it?

Hey if your charger is not working properly and you are asking for charging with the USB port then I will tell you that there will be some problems while charging with the USB port. Your charge provides 30 watts while charging but your USB port can’t handle so much of power.

While using USB port, you will face so many confusion like from where you will get the power to the USB to charge the Thrive. And also you will get confused that will this USB port is capable to transfer the 30 wot6t power? Or not. So if your charger is not working then try to buy the one new charger for it.
