I have done lots of research work on this particular matter and I have come to know that you can have maximum amount of the RAM is up to 2GB. I mean you can have the combination like two 1Gb memory module or you can have the single module of RAM of 2GB. You should have the maximum amount of the 2GB memory on the laptop of yours. if you try to install more than that of it than it will not supported on the laptop at all.

Well in order to install the another memory module on the device of yours I am suggesting following thing which you should use while installing the memory module on the device of yours.First of all you should simply enter into the BIOS setup and then you should go for the Disable Onboard Memory into the BIOS. Once you have done the same you should make an attempt to install the RAM on the laptop of yours.

You can disable the memory which you are already having on the motherboard if and only if you are having the BIOS 1.09. I let you know that you can use the disabled onboard memory when you are wanted to have the better overclocked capabilities on the laptop of yours or in another situation that is if you are having the 512 onboard memory on the laptop which you are having with you.

I let you know that I have gone through the all the post which you have mentioned over here and I wanted to tell that you should contact the MSI technical support team if you are not able to get the proper information on this particular matter. Well according to me they are the only people who can tell you about the possible solution which you should try to fix the matter of yours. so try the same and let me know whether it is useful to you.
