Does Blackberry Bold 9900/9930 comes with Holster ?

I am planning to buy a brand new blackberry bold 9930 for me and I am wondering if it’s come with Holster or not. No I am not base my decision for buying this phone on the basis of availability of Holster it would be just an added advantage. If I am not wrong that last blackberry that came with holster was blackberry bold 9000. Not sure whether blackberry torch has holster or not but sure that blackberry bold 9700 and 9780 does not have holster in there accessory . Just curious as well equipped phone does holster is included in its accessory.

This decision is not taken by the RIM. I think it’s the carrier decision. Like most of AT&T phone come packed in a inexpensive box and RIM is nothing to do with the AT&T packing as the device is supplied in bulk to the carrier and it is there decision what extra accessory should be given with the device. That’s why the price of the same model varies with the different carrier. Some carrier will supply sleeve in there device and some will give you HOLSTER that completely depend on carrier. You should check to your local carrier for that detail

Interesting information that is given here I didn’t know the accessory was actually a decision of carrier. But if this is the case they can sell their accessory by including it in the box and we have to buy it compulsorily. I know that not much of the people will know that the decision of extra accessory is made by the carrier of that device. But I think RIM has some regulation regarding the cost of their device or else everybody will have to buy what is presented in front of them. I am bit curious about this issue.

I think there should be holster available in the new blackberry bold 9900 and 9930 since it falls under well equipped range of phone though I don’t know about this I am only telling this with my experience on blackberry curve 8330 and blackberry Tour 9630 as they use to come with holster and being a business style phone I think holster will be available in this series. I am really hoping they should include holster in the new blackberry bold 9900/9930 that is one really awesome accessory and also very useful too.

I am not interested whether holster is available with the new blackberry bold 9900 and 9930 in my guess not many people are actually interested in holster for their phone in fact I know some people don’t even take their Holster out of the box they preferred keeping it wrapped in the plastic . Beside its very bulky to carry and all . I would rather preferred to have sleeve included that the holster for my phone something like RIM did with blackberry curve 8830.but my personal though not putting any thing on my phone .
