Unable to use data services on china phone

Hey guys I have recently brought a brand new mobile phone curve a few days ago from a china mobile vendor. I was under the impression that I can use all application like IM for Skype Gmail, maps etc using Wi-Fi but none of them seems to be work properly. I known china mobile doesn’t have the blackberry kind of service for individual. All other measure regarding this issue that I have done but nothing solve yet. Does anyone else facing the same problem. Do you have any solution? Please share with us

I have the same kind of problem with my phone and after I explain my problem to the vendor form whom I bought the phone give me a great solution all you have to do is go to option then advanced and TPC then in the top field , AMS simply type “cmnet “ in quote then take out the battery and restart the phone . now you can see those application will work under the mobile china EDGE network it’s a bit slow but usable and the price of data is 1 RMB a day . this will defiantly help your problem .

I was wondering whether you solve your problem of wifi on you curve and also want to know what is the price of curve that you have bought form that vender and also want to know whether you curve 8320 can read and write Chinese SMS and email on Gmail application . if the wifi of curve dose no work I might go for official 8700 model from china phone as they have the valid warranty. I am going to use voice mail and g mail app but not push mail to avoid the charges .please keep me informed

Hi people I am looking for the blackberry solution In china I am from Guangzhou. I have found couple of BES hosting company in china and they r offering 100 RMB per month hosting fee upfront payment for a year and plus you have to have global roaming user and the global roaming BB data plans at RMB 348 . There are also push mail solution trough GPRS push mail but that is not really push mail. There are also a variety of push mail service provider but don’t have time to check it out

Hi guys I have a query about my mobile phone. I had bb 8800 mobile phone which was the great mobile but recently I have bought a brand new T-Mobile bb9000 it’s also a nice phone but due to some reason I am not be able to my internet access . Its bit limited and when I put my china mobile M-zone sim in to my 8800 again its internet access work properly but my T-Mobile cannot able to use built in vrowser to connect any pages . I made all my setting same as my 8800but still I don’t understand what is going wrong

Hey I had the same problem that you are having unable to use my built in internet Brower to connect any pages I had tried many solution but the answer was not to be found then I contacted my local dealer who solved my problem in one instance the solution was very simple what you need is put CMNET where you will see CMWAP and its would work fine. This solution was so simple but unfortunately I still can’t able to use any services for Google talk and live messenger other than that everything is fine
