Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q8104 vs. Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q8104X

I own a Toshiba L515-S4925 but I am planning to purchase a Toshiba qosmio x505-q8104 laptop. My present pc X505-Q8104 has display as TruBrite TFT with 1080p native support. My L515-S4925 display under strong lights will have reflections on the screen? Is X505-Q8104 display going to have the same reflection effects as my L515-S4925? I am little confused as on a website as I saw 2 models almost of the same name. One was Toshiba qosmio x505-q8104 and the other one was Toshiba qosmio x505-q8104x. I want to know what the difference between the two is and which one is better. Kindly suggest as I want to purchase it as early as possible.

Well as most of the people don’t know this that The "X" at the end of the model name [q8104X] is to signify that the model has the corrected Sandy Bridge chipset. Many stores are still selling it as a q8104 as many don’t know the difference. The one with the x has every problem fixed which was earlier detected in the one without x in the model number. Well yes Qosmio have the Glossy type screen. You would find it in the Toshiba qosmio x505-q8104 also.

Well as I know and have inquired in many places that the Qosmio X505-Q8104 is out of stock. This model doesn’t exist. Toshiba qosmio x505-q8104x exists. The website may be having it so they have listed it and nothing else. Both the models have a glossy screen. Qosmio X505-Q8104 is an 18.4-inch laptop equipped with a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor whereas even Toshiba qosmio x505-q8104x comes with the same configuration. Except there are few changes in the x one model. There is no any change otherwise. You should definitely look for the Toshiba qosmio x505-q8104x.

Both the laptops are gaming laptops .Toshiba qosmio x505-q8104x model has x in it because of sandy bridge chipset in it. Few flaws that were present in the Qosmio X505-Q8104 have been corrected. Websites most often confuse their users. Both of them have glossy screens so you cannot get rid of it. It has a 60 Hz screen so I do not think 3d will work on the laptop. If you are looking for a 3D screen qosmio, it might take few months. Tell me why you are not happy with your current laptop. I would say if you want to purchase then definitely go for Toshiba’s qosmio x505-q8104x.
