Asus Eee pc touchpad dead

Hello I have recently bought the Asus Eee pc and under that I have installed the windows XP operating system. Everything on the system working fine without any issue but I have small issue on mine mouse touchpad. Everything on the system working fine but mine left mouse touchpad not working and I am not able to make double click through the touch and mine touchpad seems to be dead. Now I don’t what to do, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

First of all I would like to suggest you to decrease the touchpad sensitive and after that you’re able to solve the issue. as I think you have high sensitive setting and due to that your getting this issue and so therefore I would like to suggest you to decrease the sensitive. Make click on the start icon and after that click on the control panel. Now on the control panel make double click on the mouse and under that go to the setting tab and after that adjust the sensitive. Now once you decrease the sensitive and after that click on the ok button.

Remove the touchpad drivers from device manager and reinstall and after that your issue will get solved. I think you might have issue on the driver of the touchpad and therefore you’re getting this issue. First make click on my computer and after that select the properties. Now on the properties go to the hardware tab and under that make click on the device manager. Now on the device manger go to the touchpad driver and later that make right click on the touchpad and after that select the update. Once you finish the updating and after that reboot the system for best result.

Even I have faced the same issue on mine system as well and after that I have followed the lots of solution to get rid the issue but none of them helped me to solve the issue and finally when I searched on the forums I have found that I have disable the touchpad and therefore I am getting this issue. So first of all I would like to suggest you to make sure you have enabled the touchpad and after that let me know the issue.

According to me your touchpad software has been corrupted and so therefore you’re getting this issue and so therefore I would recommend you to uninstall the touchpad software and after that reinstall it gain. To uninstall the touchpad software makes click on the start icon and after that click on the control panel. Now on the control panel go to the add/remove program. Now on the add/remove program make click on the touchpad software and after that uninstall it. Once you finish this and after that reboot the system and after that install the touchpad software.

Even I have faced the same issue and after that I have followed the lots of solution to get ride this issue but none of them helped me to solve mine issue and after that I have contacted the Asus support and after that they have solved mine issue. so I would like to suggest you to make contact with the Asus support and after that go through your issue and they will solve your issue. if Asus will not help you then you can also go through your issue with the manufacturer where you bought the system.
