How to replace Quadro FX1400 to D810 ATI x600 on Dell M70

I have a Precision M70-old failure of the video card (apparently it is a very typical of the Quadro 1400), the screen displays both odd and patterns. I recently bought an ATI X600 compatible and connected to my laptop, press the power button for 3 seconds and then shut down again, so I only see green lights, sometimes I can see the DELL ... then again. Is this something related to BIOS, to video carding BIOS? Voltage maybe the "onboard" in BIOS is deactivated. Please help me in solving the problem.

Not 100% beyond any doubt, but I don't think there is something you should change in BIOS to get a representation card working. I have modified numerous cards on a Vista machine without dropping in BIOS to any detectable degree-actually soon after the overhaul I could uninstall the showcase driver with the intention that it compels a standard VGA connector. However this is incidental to your case. Indicate is, I never had to modify voltage / timing or anything else. I hope that you have understood the problem.

All I can say is that you should try to load the BIOS settings by default and after that you have to reset the CMOS settings and after that you have to see that this helps or not. But I think that for this case you have to make sure that you are making these settings in the BIOS setup. I think that is you are not able to do this then I think that you should try to remove the BIOS battery I think so for about 10 to 20 seconds. And I think by doing this will replace back everything

All I can think of is that I d try to load default BIOS / CMOS reset the settings and see if that helps. But this was no need to do it in the BIOS setup. If you cannot get into the BIOS to make it nice and proper, maybe you can try removing the BIOS battery for 10secs or so. To revert to the default settings Speaking of the BIOS - you may want to look at the latest version is A04 (see inbox PM). I hope that by doing this everything will be fine.

I think that you should disconnect the laptop and after that you have to just remove the battery and then remove it for about 20 seconds and after that you have to F1 or F2 and after that you have to change the BIOS settings and after that you have to attach the BIOS battery and after that you will be able to see the LOGO of the Dell very clearly. And I think that this will be very OK with the Quadro 1400 and in full lines and the squares.

While I was also having the same problem I solved this problem by just doing this I remembered reading loot (which is not easy for me) in my D810 BIOS A05 M70.... no luck at all, the problem is there. I guess I seem to buy on eBay the other Quadro FX 1400, since it is difficult to get work from the ATI. I hope that the problem will be solved.

While I was surfing on the internet I saw the topic and the suggestion given to you the suggestions are quite systematic and recently I was also suffering from the same problem that you are suffering now but I am wondering that now the problem has been solved because for you if no then you have to search on the Google for your exact suggestion or you will also get the videos on the Google. I hope that this will help you in solving the problem and giving you the correct suggestion.
