Best between Dell Xps 15 i7-2630QM and i7-2720QM

I need your help very urgently. I am thinking to purchase the dell xps 15 laptop but the only thing which is confusing me is the selection of the processor. After doing some research on google, I am concluded with two that is i7-2630QM and i7-2720QM. And I am going to get any one of these. Now I am posting this here so that someone can suggest me the best of these. Thank you so much in advance for replying.

I would like to tell you that the difference of the performance between i7-2630QM and i7-2720QM is unnoticeable. The only difference between these two is the benchmarks or may be with some other CPU concentrated applications. So you can go for anyone of them. Anyway, it will be helpful for us if you can provide us your requirements. Please reply with your requirements in your next post.

My suggestion to you is to go with the HP laptops that are having superior graphic card which will help you to play games on your laptop easily. It can be considered as the future proof laptop. If we talk about the Dell then it is having more superior quality of the screen. Other than this the speakers for any of the laptop is just average. There will be no point if you go higher than the 2630QM. This is what I can suggest you.

Nowadays the graphics for the sandy bridge are named as the HD 3000 or HD 2000 but while the release of the sandy bridge processors all these things are given on the Intel site. I cannot understand that why i7-2630QM and i7-2720QM are having this much price gap. If igp of i7-2630QM is HD 2000 and igp of i7-2720QM is HD 3000 there can be some noticeable difference in the igp more willingly than superior clock frequency rates. The GMA HD 2000 will only give you half of 12 Execution Units of Intel GMA HD 3000.

I don’t think that they are having a large price gap. If you go for the 2630QM then you will never use it completely except you perform massive video editing, rendering otherwise something similar to that. IMO 2720 is going to cost you Rs2500 as compared to the 2630QM. HD6770 is as excellent as GT555M. In short, if you desire to pay 20K extra and get the better screen then it will be better for you to go for the Dell if you wish for the enhanced gaming then you can select HP.

Gaming performance on a laptop will be determined by the discrete GPU not the CPU. There is little practical difference between the yield i7 and Core i7-2630QM 2720QM. You are better off investing elsewhere 10k. I have absolutely no idea why run after clock frequencies of Intel HD 3000 when he was absolutely the games. It will be used for desktop applications in general, and when Aero is on drums. Both are good sufficient for this.
