show a presentation from my iPad, displayed on a TV

I want to be able to show a presentation from my iPad, displayed on a TV or through a projector and remotely control it from my iPhone, as a remote. I have Keynote and the keynote remote which works great however the presentations I want to view are advanced powerpoint with video and the iPad Keynote won't show embedded videos converted from powerpoint.

What are my options? Is there a way to remote to my PC through my iPad? That would be the best.

Is there an app that will enable me to show powerpoint presentations through my iPad, display them externally, control them with my Iphone remotely?

I think that you can try to export it to a movie and add it to iTunes, but I appreciate that's not quite the same. If you have an iPad, iOS 5 will let you wirelessly mirror the iPad display to an apple TV. Mirroring is only available for iPad 2 via the adapter and then later this year with airplay. Hope that helps you out.
