First of all insert your SD card in card reader and after that connect it with your computer or laptop and after you connect it with computer you have to select show hidden files option from folder options. Now after enabling hidden files you have to delete all the hidden files from your SD card. Now after deleting hidden files from your SD card you have to insert your SD card again in your mobile and after that check whether you are getting the same problem or not.

First of all I will recommend you to insert your SD card with other device and after that check whether it showing enough space In your SD card or not. If other device is also gives you the same issue then I think there might be something wrong with your SD card and you need to format your SD card. if you didn’t get the same problem then I think the problem is with your Motorola Droid. I hope this information will be helpful to you.

My SD card was also giving me the same issue and after that I have checked my SD card with other device and at that time it worked properly. After doing that I came to know that my SD card is fine and there is something wrong with my mobile and that is why I have done factory reset in my Motorola Droid and after doing the factory reset I didn’t get any issue. I will suggest you to try this solution and your problem will get solved.

The best way to solve this issue is to remove your SD card from your Motorola Droid and after that you have to connect it with your computer or laptop through card reader. Now after that you have to transfer all the data in your computer and after that you have to format your memory card. Now after formatting the card don’t copy anything on your SD card, first insert it in your Motorola Droid and then check whether it is showing sd card memory status properly or not. If it shows memory properly then copy all the data and your problem will get solved.
