As extensive as they are both indexed with the similar Amazon account, it will occur mechanically for all books acquired through Amazon. For books not acquired or get via Amazon (for example classics from Project Gutenberg), I don't feel that, there is any technique to synchronize it. I am just locating this comment here in the hopes somebody will prove me incorrect, because I would like to be able to do that.

The application is optimized for Android procedure, giving consumers the capability to read Kindle books nice and simple to utilize interface. You have access to over quite a lot of books in Kindle hoard, as well as new versions of the popular New York Times best seller for $10. Read thousands of gratis e-books and above many newspapers and magazines. Amazon sigh synchronize mechanically synchronizes your previous page read bookmarks, notes, and points athwart the devices (including the Kindle), so you can persist where you left off with some other device.

At some point, both devices must have made contact with the network. That's what always makes me stumble. Usually, with my Kindle, I'll leave the wireless off. But then Amazon does not know where I left my e-books - so I cannot send that information to my Smartphone. I know it's working when I open an eBook and a message pop up on my Kindle Android application. Is something like this. "Right now is set to 4223. The farthest place to read through all devices is 4235. Would you like to go to the most read?" And there must be a "Sync" option if you press the menu button on the phone. Clicking this menu option ultimately must synchronize the phone with the latest information about where you left off!

The way I find most reliable wireless synchronization when it is activated, then make a bookmark on the page you are reading on the Kindle. This forces the Amazon Kindle to speak. Open your book on Android device, make sure you have a connection to the network, and a message appears on the far end. Most times they do not bother with timing and just tell my Android device to go to the location you just left on my Kindle.

You can also disable syncing from your Manage Your Kindle on Amazon. I think it's enabled by default. One thing I do is leave wireless on. I post every week or two anyway, so it is not required / expected to last a month or more (although I know that Wi-Fi can be disabled). Every time you stop reading, go back to the home screen and synchronize the current position back to Amazon. Thus, if I'm away from home without my Kindle, I can always get my phone and read on. I do not I have to wonder if I had the radio on Kindle. When I return to my Kindle back on the controls of the Amazon and sync everything again.
