What should I prefer HTC Desire or HTC Desire S

I am pretty confused among HTC Desire and HTC Desire S. As both of them are android phones. I have done some research but still want to confirm with the experts. I like HTC Desire but the HTC Desire's screen is not Gorilla Glass. So am worried about its durability and about HTC Desire S I am worried about its expense.

According to me HTC Desire S has much better specification as compared to the original HTC Desire. Look vice both are good. Actually you are right about its durability i.e. the Gorilla Glass feature that avoids breakage of glass during accidents. The HTC desire glass is also durable, it does not have Gorilla Glass but then too it is unbreakable. The HTC Desire S has a faster CPU and GPU that consumes less power and gives better performance. I would like to add some more points on it. As you are aware both of them are smart phones. The HTC Desire has more RAM as compared to HTC Desire that means it gives better performance. Also including merits such as a more advanced option and optimized version of HTC Sense. Lets not forget the much greater internal phone memory to put apps in which is very important. Overall making it a better phone indeed by consuming less battery comparatively. HTC Desire S is the sensible choice and its look is also good, so my vote is for HTC Desire.
