Why it’s bad Idea to buy a Chromebook

This days I am planning to buy a laptop for my daily use, well as there are number of laptops available, but I decided to go for Google Chromebook. The reason for it is because of it’s built with advanced web technology, cloud computing. While I was looking over web to find out more details, I found a article where it said it is not worth buying a Chromebook. So I want to confirm about this from you guys, so please me know whether it is worthy or basically a bad idea
