1080p is not in HTC EVO 3D

I have my birthday upcoming and my father promised me to give me the new HTC and I am very much amazed regarding it and I want to get it as soon as possible and get my hands onto it. This would be my first 3d phone and as I have read its reviews it is just as amazing as the phone is. But I have one doubt regarding it now. I heard it is having 1080p at 24fps, is it true? Because I had also heard it was just 720 at 24 fps.

It appears akin to a mistake made in the list of specifications by Sprint for HTC EVO 3D. The EVO does not record video in 1080p 2D at all. Central Android Sprint once again said that “We say sorry, but there was an error in the specification sheet for the HTC EVO 3D. The right function is that it would capture video and playback at 720p and 1080p respectively." So I think they made it clear at the time of release itself.

No I guess you have not seen the show. I had be live when the brand new HTC EVO 3D was being publicized at CTIA last March, they said that it is able of shoot the HD videos. And those videos would be at 720p in 3D and with 2D they said that it would have 1080p. So I guess you heard it right and you are having both facility of 720 and 1080. So go forward and enjoy the phone it is as wonderful as anything.

Not that much. I'm glad my phone can take high-quality clicks already. 720p is I think just enough on a phone technology mainly because at the instant still has to improve for the 1080p recording on the phone is not nervous. I'll stay with the Sony HD cam to my videos and also use the evo3d. For me both will do i.e 720 and 1080p both will be good enough and would be enjoyable at the mobile phone.

It is very much confusing what all are saying. Because every time I surf the internet I get different new about the HTC EVO. But I think all are just saying what they know about it and I would also like to share with them that it may up convert the video or the image to 1080p as its screen can support it. But you cannot capture a video at 1080p in both 2d and 3d. And this feature would be given in the later upgrade of the phone.

Yes the HTC said that the HTC EVO wills it would capture video and playback at 720p and 1080p respectively. But they mean to say that it will capture the video at 720p and not 1080p. But if you have some movie or clip of 1080p you can watch it on the phone as it supports it. i.e it screen has the capacity of it. But you cannot record it on 1080p it is not possible in these version of the phone. Hope this made you clear about the things.
