Laptop battery dies and comes on but a black screen

okay my laptop said the battery was low and then it just cut off and i when to get the wall charger and plugged it in turn it on and it camed on but after the windows screen came on then it a black screen it comes on in safe mode but it wont come on regular just a black screen adn then when i did the system recovery it does work it always fails the laptop is a hp refursbied and idk what to do please help! oh i btw the battery holds just about 2 hours

A couple of things you will need to do is like firstly open case and to make sure power and data cables for screen have not come loose. If cables are intact than you have either a problem with your screen, backlight, or inverter. To Test remove laptop screen and try it in another laptop and if lcd screen works in other laptop than your inverter is shot.

First make sure that your battery working properly and if your battery not working then replaces the battery. Now after that also you get the same issue then I would like to suggest you to hard reset the laptop and after that go through your issue. To hard reset your laptop you need to go through the following steps:

• First shutdown the laptop and make sure that your all light are off.
• Now remove the all power cord and after that unplug the all other device that are connected to you laptop.
• Now remove the battery and after that carefully keep on the safe place.
• Now press or hold the front power button for 70 seconds and after that release it.
• Now again reconnect the all cords and battery that unplugged and after that restart your system and then go through your issue.
