How to increase the speed of my Dell Vostro 3700

I just bought this Dell Vostro 3700 with a core i7 processor and 4 GB DDR3 ram. I just love this machine. I am a gamer and so I use it mostly for the gaming purpose. Now the question is what can I do to increase the performance of my laptop? Well now also I am getting a good performance from it but then too I would like to get the most out of it.

You have got a nice laptop here, with the corei7 processor and 4 GB ddr3 ram. To increase the speed you can add another 4 GB ram. Also you can try cleaning the temporary files from your system, try not to run too many applications at the same time and also defrag the local disk (c drive) this will also help to increase the performance of your laptop.

I would suggest you to go for a SSD and install your operating system and the games on it; this will really help to speed up your laptop's performance. After installing the games and operating system on the SSD the space available on your internal hard drive can be used for the page file. Now what happens here is when you run any game or any large applications they make least use of your ram and they use as much as space available on the page file, so if you make these alterations you will be definitely getting an ultimate gaming experience on your laptop. And also I will suggest you to go for 32 GB SSD which would cost less and is enough for installing operating system and games.

Dell vostro is an excellent gaming machine with core i7 processor chipset which is ideal for gaming, 4gb ram, hard drive with 7200rpm, Bluetooth, wifi, 17.3 inch HD wide anti-glare screen etc. I am actually planning to sell my core 2 duo desktop and buy this laptop because it gives you a desktop level performance.

Dell vostro comes with windows 7; I would suggest you to change the operating system to Windows XP service pack 3. According to me this is the best operating system for playing games. I am also a gamer and I have the same laptop and I am using it with the windows XP and I have absolutely no problems with it.
