ASUS has claimed that its Eee Slate EP121, is the fastest tablet currently available in the entire world. It is packed in with the new Intel Core i5 processor. world’s fastest tablet, packing an Intel Core i5 processor. But all this features will be getting only after you shell out a big chunk of your money, almost around $999. It has got an amazing 2.1 inch slate which gives a very good look and feel about it. Compared to its earlier counterpart, Eee Pad Transform, the Eee Slate EP121 is much thicker. The thickness is increased because it is provided with more active cooling.

Out of the four edges, the three edges have slots provided for vents and speakers. This is just because the Intel Core i5 processor runs much hotter than its other counterpart, NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 on the other range of ASUS Eee Pad. It is also provided with Wi-Fi b/g/n for wireless Internet connection, Bluetooth and 64GB SSD memory space. Dual-mode touchscreen also comes along with other features like HDMI and USB ports. The Dual-mode touchscreen, not only responds to the users normal finger-input. But it also includes multi-touch pinch-gestures which can be used for zooming.
