Re: Samsung Omnia 7 vs LG Optimus 7

    • The LG Optimus 7 has got a very solid build quality with an amazing high-end spec. It has got a aluminum back cover, volume lockers and buttons. Even thought the power button is small in size it responds 100% accurately. The LCD screen of this mobile is sharp, bright and very vibrant. The inclusion of DLNA feature in Optimus 7 by Microsoft has added restrictions on Windows Phone 7 software. It also has got the speech to text feature which seems to be very impressive. The main disadvantages are that memory cannot be expanded. It has got an average quality of display. The camera lens has got no protection from outside dust and scratches. Stereo speakers are missing.

    • The Samsung Omnia 7 provides you with top class processing power, large screens, powerful imaging and many other features. The vivid picture and the use of the superior Super AMOLED tech give the best quality display. It has got a very good metal body and the 5 MP Camera is also excellent. The hardware of this mobile is perfect, but the software makes the phone down on certain occasions. It has got no Stereo speakers and no lens protection. Also the memory card slot is missing.

Re: Samsung Omnia 7 vs LG Optimus 7

Since both Samsung Omnia 7 and The LG Optimus 7 are having Windows phone 7 Operating system, they both have the following limitations:
    • System-wide file manager is missing.
    • File transfer through Bluetooth is absent.
    • USB mass storage mode is also missing.
    • Only Limited third-party apps can be used as Windows Phone 7 has put many restrictions.
    • Flash or Silverlight is not supported by the browser running in Windows Phone 7 mobile.
    • File management and Syncing of mobile is totally dependent on the Zune software.
    • You cannot perform video calls as front camera is absent.
    • If you want to get any new ringtones then they are available only through the Marketplace.
    • Multitasking is an issue

Wow!! Thank you. You guys are just amazing. I din expected the replies to be so quick. Thanks for giving me the detailed review about both the Samsung Omnia 7 and LG Optimus 7 Smartphone’s. Though both the mobile phones are having few drawbacks as they using the Windows Phone 7 Operating system in them, I am sure they will be ruling the market for a pretty good time. For me they both are the ultimate phones available at present in the market. I am still confused which one to purchase, so I am trying to get more information about them by browsing about them on Internet and reading as many forums or blogs on them.
