Well, i haven't used any this china model, hence i cannot be sure. But similar like other chinese phones, it should be under settings. Open settings and see if you have any option named as Destination or Access Point. If yes, open it (whichever is present there) and enter the settings given above in appropriate field.

But better than that, simply call your service provider and ask them to send the settings via SMS. If you get the settings in SMS, you can simply configure it by selecting SAVE from options. No need to find settings and all. What say?

    Re: china mobile g5 3000 - configure gprs /memory

finally,I was able to configure the gprs setting.

however, while trying to connect any site, the set shows "insufficient memory".

I have 2g memory cards with the mobile. it seems the extra memory is not read by the mob or activated. Other than the phone book entry of around 200-nos.I have not used the phone for storing anything else.

How to overcome this "insufficient memory"?

Insufficient Memory error occurs probably when when you have very less memory left on phone (Not SD Card). Also, even if you have the entire phone memory left but still you get than it is due to low configuration of device. There is no way to help it out.

Re: china mobile g5 3000 - configure gprs settings

I have not used the phone for storing any other data other than around 200 phone nos.

It is true that the built in memory of the phone is less.

However,I had an additional m,emory of 2gb memory card.

any suggestion to solve the issue?

Well, the only try you can give is while browsing make sure there is no other applications running in the background. Many times this is also the cause of the same. If you still getting the same error while browsing than there is no way out.
