Unable to reset incorrect clock in Motorola CLIQ

I own a Motorola CLIQ. Yesterday I have noticed that that there is an update to 1.3.18 prepared for my mobile phone. It was a supernatural moment; expressing that my CLIQ was going away to be improved than forever - awaiting the update done and I observed that my mobile phone currently thought it was 6pm on 31 December 1969. "This is not an issue. I thought, since I gone all the way through the menus to change around the time. However while I input the accurate date and time, the phone not at all altered. It was inquisitive, thus I rebooted and tried the similar thing, but there is no luck at all.

It seems to me like a software or firmware update error in your phone and due to this your mobile internal clock is not responding. While updating the phone something might went wrong. Seems to be like the update wasn’t installed properly in your mobile phone. You need to properly update the firmware once again. Not only were you getting this issue but many users who have recently updated their CLIQ getting the same issue. I hope that the T-mobile or Motorola soon going to fix issue anyway.

I don’t think that there is any way to correct this problem other than removing motorblur afterward do factory reset and followed by reconstruct the motorblur account. It may work for you if some settings have changed during the update process. However, I would inquire a Motorola specialist and notice if that would be a reasonable explanation. I’m apologetic to perceive sound regarding all the problems with that I have not made whichever updates to my mobile phone to be truthful. If you are getting that problem I won't be until I make out for confident this will not come about to me.

This might help out... I memorize understanding someone's post regarding bypassing motoblur.. I believe they affirmed that following a reset it prompts you to unite motoblur currently or presently. They said they select later and skipped this and the mobile phone worked similar to a store Android phone, simply whatever thing to perform with the Blur service did not work. I don't make out for certain ever since I simply had to launch my phones just the once and I don't keep in mind the option to compose any. Except seeing as you have a reset mobile phone perhaps you can attempt it or inform me if this is not accurate.

The similar obsession occurred to me previous night. I did the upgrading to the 1.3.18, it found a blue screen whereas installing that would not set off left, had to drag my battery in order to restart. Afterward the time sighted 6:00 and date was 12/31/1969, I like you reflected it was simply an issue of resetting except it would not reorganize. I have contacted the T Mobile who had me do all the way through all of the standard possibilities, taking out the battery, master reset. Following tiresome each and every one of this and it did not help out. Then the Tmobile Tech told me that they will be going to replace my phone.

I would like to tell you some word of warning. It looks like making a reset of Motorola CLIQ is not a good idea. If you are getting an issue with an imprecise date/time, your mobile phone must still work meant for the mainly part. However if you carry out a reset, you can dig up locked out of MotoBlur and that will be a much bigger issue. The T-mobile had promised that they will going to fix this issue. So don’t go for update and reset now. If you have already updated the phone then you may do a downgrade otherwise make use of any other date/time apps.
