problem with samsung s3100

my niece's samsung s3100 mobile phone shuts down when she finishes playing a game and after a while restarts on its own.

Is there a master reset function?

Has anyone expereinced a similar fault?

I don't know why this problem is occuring but can be fixed surely by hard resetting the device. You can reset your Samsung S3100 by entering the following code : *2767*3855#

it may ask your for the security code. Make sure you have it. If you dint updated its firmware ever, than rather than doing hard reset, do a firmware upgrade. It will be much better for your device.
