Blackberry curve 8520 screen turns white.

Hi I recently purchased Blackberry Curve 8520 and it was working fine until yesterday. Now it has started showing some sort of malfunctioning. The screen has turned complete white and sometimes I am able to see some funny circle icon across the white screen and it displays “Reload Software 552” at the bottom of the screen. What is the cause for this problem? I have tried everything from removing battery and putting it back, restarting but nothing seems to be working for me at this moment. Please help me. I am in really bad need to solve this problem.

Make sure that you have installed Blackberry Desktop Manger in your system.
    • Go to Starte > run and type the following statement as it is:c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader\loader.exe" /nojvm
    • As soon as the Enter key is pressed, the Application Loader Wizard will appear. Press “Next”
    • Select the “USB-PIN: UNKNOWN” from the “Connection:” menu. Click “Next”.
    • Now you will be able to see a list of applications which can be installed. Press Next and then Finish. Don’t disconnect anything until the process gets over.

You said the problem started all a sudden within few months of using your Blackberry Curve 8520, the mobile phone must still be within the warranty period. If it is within the warranty period, then you should probably visit your nearest Blackberry Stores and get your blackberry Curve 8520 replaced or repaired. This is probably the best solution you have got. It is better then you doing experiments with your cell phone and risking your phone to more problems and damages. Those technical people are the one who knows more about the averall functioning of the drvice.

    • First of all make sure that you have created back up of all your important data file.
    • Now uninstall Blackberry Desktop Manager and all the related references of the Blackberry/Research In Motion in the windows Explorer thus removing the OS for blackberry from the computer.
    • Download the latest version of Blackberry Desktop Manager and install it on the computer.
    • Now visit the official website of Blackberry and download the latest version of Operating System of your blackberry and save it.
    • Once you have installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager in your system, start it.
    • Now connect your cell phone to your computer.
    • Click update on the home screen of your Blackberry Desktop Software.
    • Click on Get Update to download the update or click on View other versions and install the version of OS you want to.
    • Make sure the OS you selected now is same as the one you downloaded before.
    • Let the process get complete and let it reboot by itself. Do not disconnect the device in middle.

You should erase all the data on your Blackberry device by doing the following steps.
    • Open main Menu and click on Security which is in the device Options.
    • From Blackberry Device Software 4.1, go to Security>>General Security
    • Click on the touchpad (trackball for other mobiles) and choose Wipe Handheld.
    • Click Continue and then Type “Blackberry”.
    • This will delete all the data from your blackberry,
    • On some new versions of BlackBerry software, the menu navigation is slightly different.

You should check whether you have got your bill of the time when you purchased your blackberry smartphone. If you have purchased a genuine blackberry and if you have the bill for the same then it is for sure your phone is still within the warranty period. You should probably visit the nearest blackberry stores in your area and get your blackberry mobile fixed. As it will be within the warranty period, you can either get it repaired or replaced, depending upon the condition of damaged happened to your mobile. Also it will be completely FREE of charge. And if you don’t have the bill or anything like that, then it will be charging you for the fix, but the charges will be minimum.
