As far as I know that there is an update for SLIC BIOS for Toshiba satellite laptop. I have also seen the download link for that. However it is not the official BIOS I think. It is some kind of customized or maybe a modified BIOS that is particularly created for that model of laptop. However the unmodified Pheonix bios cannot work for Toshiba as far as my knowledge concern. If you somehow got this BIOS there is a long procedure to update it in your system. I hope that you have got my point. |

There could be much trouble to find the Pheonix bios MOD SLIC v2.1. You can download this BIOS from any site. Some website will provide their own kind of modified Pheonix bios. Otherwise you will need to find a good person who can modify the BIOS as per your system. You can somehow manage to update the BIOS. But after that issues might arise. If you are looking forward to overclockin the system then you may get lots of trouble with this modified Pheonix bios. So it would be better if you stick with the official version of BIOS. |

I previously look into M11x BIOS except I'm frightened there are no choices to overclock the Bus Speed from 266MHz toward 333 MHz. The nearby obsession is Frequency Ratio which allegedly permits you to alter internal CPU frequency multiplier. However, ever since this preference have recognized problem (can turn into PC unbootable), I'm not going away to unlocked it. I'm frightened the last customized BIOS image will simply holds unlocked menus which are not associated to overclock in any way. |

Have you looked into the Toshiba official website? I think that you should take a look into that. If there any Pheonix bios MOD are available to download then it will work for your system. Otherwise if you have downloaded from any third party websites I don’t think that they will properly going to update the BIOS or SLIC from 2.0 to 2.1. There are not much information regarding this version of BIOS. Many websites have only offered the link to download the update but it is not definite. |

I have seen the ACPI Flash BIOS version 2.30 for Satellite A210/A215 (PSAEGU/PSAELU) 32/64bit download option on the official Toshiba website. So I think that it is not the v2.1 which you need to download except it is even more get advanced to v2.3. Just search for this particular thing on Google and I hope that you will surely able to download and install it in your laptop. I don’t think that it is a Mod. It looks like genuine. |
