Toshiba Satellite t215d s1150 laptop ask password during boot up

I recently purchased a Toshiba Satellite t215d s1150 and all of the sudden it decided to ask for a HDD/SDD password during the boot up process. I can enter the boot up menu and it says that there is no password registered. I try to insert a fresh password just to boot the laptop but the laptop doesn't allow the password I altered. I was using this just in the recent time but, I haven't had any issues like this. Is there any built in password present in the laptop which is present in it? Please give me some of the solution for the problem that I am facing in it.

I feel that you just get an new hard drive for yourself I think this is the cheapest way that can help to in getting out of the problem that is present with you, I have seen that this kind of the problem is almost not solvable by the normal people only some of the specialist that are present who have a special talent in this case can help in coming out from it, also to pay this guy’s the fees they charge is a lot, so I think that you just go with the new hard drive instead of paying this people the money, also the only thing that you can go with this is if the files are been present in it which you want to get it from it then only go with this one.

Thanks for the reply that you have provided to me, I am not having any of the problem with buying the new hard drive for me, but the point to be noticed is that the hard drive is asking for the password which I have not entered only, what if the same problem is been asked in the new hard drive that It will ask so now what to do about the problem that I am facing, also I have to clear all the problem that is bee happening in it then only I will go with the new ones as you have told me.

According to me, I will see that the problem is coming or not in the laptop with the help of the dummy hard drive, you can say like just take an hard drive and connect it to the laptop of yours and see the problem that is coming in it, if the problem is been coming then just don’t go for the new hard drive or if the problem is not been coming then you can go for the extra hard drive as the problem is in the old hard drive of yours, so the only problem that I can see is about the extra hard drive, well just see that you can borrow it from your friends, or else take it on rent for some time from some computer shop who knows you very well and from where you take the parts of the computer.

By just doing the above thing you will see that the new hard drive or the extra hard drive that you have with you is been connected to the laptop is giving you problem or not, so I think that you just connect the original hard drive with the other system and se how it is working in it, because that will give you the whole description of the problem where it is originating and all that, so just give a try and see with this and see about it.

I was wondering about the solution that you guys have provided to me, as I am not that literate about the problem and the solution that you have provided tome, also I am afraid about the laptop as it is a very delicate and a complex thing I am afraid that I will destroy while removing the hard drive, but I have seen how it is done, so no problem about the removing of the hard drive from the laptop but the only thing I am afraid is that I am not able to connect it through the other laptop.

I think it is very easy thing that can help, you to connect the hard drive, as you have connected to the hard drive I have seen that this is the easiest thing that can be done, so just connect it in the same way as you have done it in the laptop of yours, it is easy thing so don’t worry, but still if you are not that confident about the problem then I would recommend that you take some help of the seniors and see how it work with you
