Unable to find Nokia N8 Search Widget after hard reset

I had just bought a Nokia N8 touch screen Smartphone. And now I had done a hard reset to it due to which I was unable to find the search widget along with the search provider by a web browser and the Nokia Ovi store applications. I was happy working with the search widget of the Nokia N8. I guess it did not come along with the firmware. Now I am unable to search as the widget was very helpful to me. Can anyone help me out to resolve the issues related after the hard reset? Your suggestion will be appreciated.

You can try installing your firmware using the Nokia Ovi suite. Or else you can get them by going to the Google search site and try downloading it from there. Special care is to be taken then do not download from the third party website as you get the latest update from the related website as they are mostly freeware. So try downloading them on your phone and then install them as they guide it to you. Just take care from where you need to download your application programs. Good luck!!

As for now I have not seen this error but I would recommend to go to your nearest Nokia Care center and try re-flashing of your phone from them. As to it might load all your firmware associated with it. You will just need to take care of the warranty or you will end up getting more cost for the same. Or else if it is in warranty they might help you as per their terms and condition. Download your tap2it software from the internet and install it onto your mobile device which is a freeware provided by Nokia itself.

First of all you should not try hard reset at anytime as it will delete some applications from your phone Ovi maps, Ovi store and pre installed widgets from your device. For this you will require to follow the instructions given below:

1. Press the down key at least for 10 seconds
2. Now try restoring your factory settings
3. Go to your main menu
4. Try to open settings from the list given
5. Go to phone sub menu
6. Open the phone management
7. Open the factory settings menu
8. Now try restoring it
