Nokia E7 Mail for Exchange sync freezes up

I had bought a brand new Nokia E7 Smartphone for my personal usage. I used it extensively for sending mails and for messaging services. For this I had to use Nokia Mail Exchange to sync in with different systems which enable me to store my emails. I had applied settings which were needed to sync my mails with my laptop system. So after few days I tried checking it but however it was not sync and getting frozen up. Owing to which I had to delete old mailbox and have to load it again. I do not know what the reason is. Is there anyone who earlier had same problem like this and was able to solve it? Please help!!

I had tried the problem associated with this problem and was able to sort of some of it for me. For this I had ran a software update which is required to check if there is any update for the mails sync to which I found out by going through the following steps:

1. Go to your main display screen of your mobile phone
2. Go to into its main menu
3. Select applications listed in it
4. Open the program software update
5. It will now check for update and load it to your phone

Now, I guess you will be able to sync your mails now.

In your case your mail for exchange got stuck up or freezes up, in that case you will need to follow the instructions given below:

1. Go to your mobile inbox and check the last email to got
2. Now check for the same to the inbox of your outlook which was received
3. Check for a forward mails which is having image embedded into it
4. Delete or move that email to somewhere else
5. Switch off and restart your mobile device again.
6. Now sync should starts on its own

If this happened to work out for you then it the problem related to you Mail for Exchange.

If above solutions given by our friends does not work out for you then try creating a new profile and deleting the existing one from your mobile phone. For this you would need to follow the instructions given below:

1. Go to main display screen
2. Go to main menu
3. Open the folder which says MfE which is the icon for mail for exchange
4. It will asked you for creating a new profile
5. Select on yes
6. A list will be displayed to you. From this you will need to select e-mail
7. It will now direct you the email sub menu
8. Enter your email-id
9. Enable to show if new mail pop up
10. Disable signature

This way it will help you in creating new profile for mail exchange.
