The extract zip file containing the BIOS upgrade to The floppy disk is formatted Ensure The Notebook is Connected to the network turn the Notebook off. Later on what you have to do here is that just try and turn on the laptop but this time you have to press F12 key. Keep the key pressed Until a short beep Can Be Heard. The message "Ready for BIOS update will be appear in front of you then you have to place the BIOS update diskette in the Drive and press any key When ready to proceed" Will Appear. I am sure this information will be enough for you.

I guess I have solved such kind of issue earlier also and it seems to me that it must be the common problem for many of the users but for laptops as well as for fixed, you can order a new BIOS chip containing the BIOS version of your choice to replace that of your laptop. Obviously it's not easy to disassemble a laptop and locate the chip. I hope that this information will be helpful to you and also will give you some sort of confident to deal with the problem.

If anything has damaged the BIOS and boot your computer normally, then there is nothing you can do except get a new BIOS chip. You have to be able to boot your computer to update the BIOS. Are sure the BIOS is corrupted? The facilities are integrated into the BIOS hardware and software code to prevent the BIOS from being written, while the operating system is running. Stops virus writing the BIOS which was very common at a time. If your friend has found a way to circumvent these controls and then not put it closer to a computer. There is no legitimate reason for writing the BIOS when the computer is running. However, if the CMOS is corrupted, then that is a different matter. That can put a default condition that will allow the computer to boot. You can do this movement is usually temporary bridge on the motherboard. The motherboard manual will tell you how. Or, remove the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a few seconds then replace it. The CMOS battery may be recognized as a silver platter the size of a dime.

Did you recently upgrade your PC, change its components, or try a setting in the BIOS, which now prevents the ignition to the end? Here's how to reset the BIOS. First, if you read the motherboard manual and look for the BIOS, or reset the CMOS. In general, the easiest and least intrusive is to remove the power cord from the computer, open it and look for a button battery usually bigger than a watch to remove five or ten minutes. In theory this should work.
