I would suggest to disable the touch pad mouse is fighting on the other hand; the touch screen sensitivity is very high. You can temporarily disable the touch pad and you can check the mouse works well or not. To disable the touch pad the following steps: - go to Start button on the desktop and then click the search box. In a search box type the devmgmt.msc and press Enter. Now, the browser and mouse pointing device and right click on the track pad and click the Disable option, after you reboot the system and now your touch is disabled and the mouse start working. If the mouse works, you need to check out your touch pad driver with the PC manufacturer to solve this problem. |

In my opinion because those infected with the virus also causes this problem, so I'd suggest that you make on the scan line so that you can solve your problem. There are plenty of web sites where you get the online scan for free. They also call for installing the antivirus, so you can remove all viruses infected the system. I hope this will help a lot and it really helps. |

There are many ways to disable the touch-pad, follow these steps to secure that you can disable the touch-pad - to turn off the touch-pad press F7 while holding down the Fn button. This disables the touch screen. If you do not work you can also follow this way too. Snap the Start icon and then make a success in the control panel. Under the control panel twice click on the mouse and unlock the properties of the mouse. Now, under the click of the mouse properties in device settings and then click Settings and Now click under the recording settings and remove the check mark to enable check box advantage. I think this will help a lot. |

Here is the answer: Take a look at the top of the keyboard where the power button is. To the the left of that power button is a small button; that button disables the touchpad. Acer 5532 User |
