Dell 2335DN Printer goes undetected

Guys I had brought this new Dell 2335DN printer so as to enjoy more effectiveness in printing which I think that this printer has got several options with it. I own a small business where I have got 20 systems connected to the printer and when I respond from the user machine the printer goes undetected. I have tried out many times but the systems are unable to detect the printer so guy can someone help me to know that how will I be able to get the printer detected through all the systems that are connected in LAN.

Dude I would want to know that are you having a server installed on the main frame system from where you have kept all the other systems connected to it, if yes than what I would want to know that thus the printer goes detected from the server or not, since the server is having all the rights to access the same. If you are not able to detect the printer from the server itself than I think that you might be missing some of the drivers that is required by the printers, so make sure that you have got the drivers perfectly installed.

How are you connecting the system to the other printers, since there are many ways to do it but I would specially suggest that you should try to access the printers by opening the Printer and Faxes option from the control panel, where if you are connected in LAN then you will get the printer detected with its name? So you will have to just right click the same and click on sharing and give the name of the printer along with your port number and you will find that the system will able to send request to the printer.

He make sure that the printer is perfectly connected with the LAN that is there isn’t any cross cable connection or any lose connection with the cable of the printer to the LAN, since that could be the reason of the other system not being able to detect the printer. So what I would suggest first is that you should make sure that you have got every thing perfectly connected on the LAN, so that the other PC can recognize it.

Dude what you do is that you should go into the control panel and then click on Administrative Tools and then go to services from where you will have to search for the printer spooler options from the list. Once you find it you will have to right click the same and select Restart where you will be able to restart the printer service. Since you have changed the service so I think that installing the new one might require refreshing the printer.
