Philips DVP3360 DVD player displays STOP / ROOT

My Philipps DVD player wont load any media now like disc or USB and just displays STOP and sometimes ROOT why is this ??

I think that there might be an issue with the firmware version of the Philips DVP3360 DVD player that you own. So what you can do is, update its firmware version to the latest, and for that download its firmware from here. If by any chance you are getting "check sum fail error" then ignore it and continue to update its firmware.
