Samsung GT-S5230 cell phone Out of calibration

I have the Samsung GTS5230 cell phone and the touch screen is completely out of calibration. I can not even get to the calibrate app in phone settings. Does anybody know how I can fix this?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Phone Info: Modle GT-S5230 SSN S5230GSMH IME 351750040072352

Have you tried going into Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Calibration

Then tap the crosshairs each time it asks you.

Thats how you do it. Or you can also try to flash your mobile phone and check afterwards whether you are facing the same problem or not.

Yes but it is so far off the mark that when I tap the screen for settings I get widget instead. No matter how high I tap on the screen it only works the bottom selections.
