    Custom Ringtone for iPhone 1.1.2in iTunes 7.5

    I am a big fond of the Apple products. I am having iPhone on which I have installed Firmware 1.1.2 on the same. I have also installed latest iTunes on the computer of mine. Well I am looking for the custom ringtones for the iPhone of .mine. well let me know if you are having any work around to get the requirement of mine. I am waiting for the prompt replies of yours. Thanks a lot in advance.

    I am providing following steps which you can use to create custom ringtone.
    • You have to select the desire sound file.
    • Now use the Audacity in order to clip the song for around 40 or less second.
    • You have to drag the song to iTune.
    • Now search for the .mpa songs in to My Document folder of your computer.
    • You have to rename the file .map with .mpr.
    • Now simply double click the songs which you have just renamed.
    • You will find the new ringtone in to ringtone list in iTunes. Chose the same from syncing.
    • Now Sync the iPhone of yours.
    • You have to tap on the Settings and go for Sound and tap on the Ringtone on the iPhone of yours. you will see a folder called Custom. You will see the new ringtone in that particular folder.

    You can use the following instruction if you are using Mac OS X 10.5.
    • You have to choose the song in the iTune which you wanted to use as a ringtone. I let you know that Protracted AAC file will not work at all.
    • You have to right click on the File and go for InFo.
    • Now navigate to the Options page and choose the Start and time for that particular ringtone.
    • Now right click on the file and choose the Convert Selection to AAC.
    • Now you have to right click on the converted songs and choose show in Finder.
    • You have to simply drag the .m4r file to the desktop from the Finder.
    • Now delete the converted file and right click on the file which is placed on the desktop and rename the file with .m4a to .m4r.
    • Now you have to placed the rename song file to the ringtone folder from the desktop.
    • You have to begin with the sync process of your iPhone and copy the file on the iPhone of yours.

    I am proving some specific steps which you can use to meet the requirement of yours.
    • You have to set start and end time for the desire song in the iTunes.
    • Now select the same.
    • Now you should move to Desktop and simply execute the script.
    • Make sure that you have selected the Ringtone folder and when it is prompted. Now click on the Continue button.

    In this particular situation I am providing following work around to get the custom ringtone.
    • You have to choose the desire song and set the desire start and Stop time for that particular song.
    • Now go to iTunes and click on Preferences and click on the Advanced. You have to verify that you are using importing method is AAC encoder.
    • Now click on the Advanced from the Toolbar then go for Convert Selection to AAC. Once it is converted you have to change file extension to m4r.
    • Now sync the renamed file with the iPhone of yours.

    Well looking at the requirement of yours I am providing some basic instruction which can be used by the normal user. It consists of the following instruction.
    • You have to drag the songs on the Desktop of your computer.
    • Now launch the QuickTime on the computer of yours.
    • You have to clip the song by 30 seconds or less.
    • You have to change the file extension to .m4r.
    • Now placed the renamed the file in the iTunes and put in to ringtone folder. and put in to ringtone folder.
    • Finally sync your iPhone with the computer of yours and put the ringtone on the iPhone of yours.
