Sony Vaio E series VPCEB45FG/L or Dell Inspiron 15R (T541109IN8) ?

I want to buy a rugged & sturdy laptop which I can use for extended hours 8-10 hrs without excessively heating & damaging the laptop. Can anyone tell me which one of the two (Sony Vaio E series VPCEB45FG/L or Dell Inspiron 15R T541109IN8) will be better ?

Configurationwise DELL (I5-480, 1GB ATI HD 550v) looks better than Vaio (I3-380, 512MB ATI 5470) but some of my friends have display issues with their DELL laptops so I am little careful.

RELIABILITY & No maintenance/repair is MUST.

So please help.

If you ask me then i will advise you to go with the Dell one as this the most trustful i believe. Also the configuration which Dell is offering is better then the Sony. Where Sony gives only i3 processor, Dell is coming with the i5 processor. I have gone through many review and found Dell as most trusted brand. So if you can then go through the Dell and Enjoy
