    As per my knowledge about this application is, The current functional status of Apple's iOS Printer Service AirPrint "has not yet been clarified. Some users who have installed the latest update to OS X 10.6.5 AirPrint works properly, both from the IOS device to a network printer and a Mac to a shared printer. It is despite with OS X 10.6.5 currently do not benefit from AirPrint, consider that the AirPrint activated as initially introduced by Apple, this application can run in Mac OS X 10.6.5, iPhone, iPod touch or iPad iOS 4.2, A AirPrint support or to an AirPort station connected printer.

    An additional information on airprint, AirPlay is designed to be used from devices with IOS, but can print from your Mac via AirPrint, to do so you need the free application developed by NetPutingy Airprint Activate. This application was initially called AirPrintHacktivator, but did Apple remove it using your source code from Netputing already been solved and created a replacement AirPrint Activator. You can use this along AirPrint designed for iOS from your apple system, are required to have installed on your Mac a version less than OS X 10.6.5 with iTunes.

    Apple has indeed released with Airprint a great opportunity, which can also be used with the iPhone or iPad now to print directly. Hardy, however, that are currently only supports a few models from HP. Since I had after the update to 4.2 iOS but really annoyed at the printing of emails and photos I had been looking forward properly. Everything i needed was to make in my new MacBook and with the free program Airprint Hacktivator. To use this start the program make user that the printer is removed, and newly added printer "Share this printer on the network" the tick with clickable.

    AirPrint is one of the most important innovations of the available since after release of iOS 4.2.1 . The function enables wireless printing via iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch over a wireless connection. However, now officially only a few HP printers AirPrint supported. But with a little tweak, this restriction can be circumvented. As the developer Simone Lehmann has found can be personalized with a small AppleScript all printers that Mac OS X 10.6.5 and registered for the network are released under, it requires only one additional text file into a compressed folder. After that you can run this by using AppleScript, a restart is required then. After the restart must be cleared so far registered in the system printer, added and shared on the network and Mac gets the jobs from iOS WLAN and sends it to the printer.

    The functionality is still anecdotal AirPrint devices iOS because of a number of compatible printers very limited. Currently, AirPrint only works on HP and Apple does not introduce officially printer sharing using Mac OS X or Windows. This was however expected to attend the presentation of AirPrint and integrated with beta versions of Mac OS X 10.6.5. Since the update of Mac OS X was released and the media AirPrint removed. Fortunately, some manufacturers include the technology gradually AirPrint. EFI is the case with the print server Flery System 8 or 8e. The latter has received an extension PrintMe Connect which ensures compatibility with AirPrint. According to the manufacturer, more than 250,000 printers would be affected by this update.

    The airprint application can compatible with the following printer introduced by HP. If you are having nay HP printer then this will be helpful for you.

    *HP Envy eall-in-One Printer (D410a)
    * HP Photosmart e-AiO (B210a)
    * HP LaserJet CP1525n Color Printer Pro
    * HP LaserJet CP1525nw Pro Color Printer
    * HP LaserJet M1536dnf Pro Printers
    * HP LaserJet CM1415fn Pro Multifunction Color Printer
    * HP Photosmart Wireless e-AiO (B110)
    * HP Photosmart eStation (C510)
    * HP LaserJet CM1415fnw Pro Multifunction Color Printer
    * HP Photosmart Premium e-AiO (C310a)
    * HP Photosmart Premium e-AiO (C410a)
    Basically AirPrint also usable with other printers when linked with either an airport station or access through the 'share function of a Mac to the printer.

    'Real' Printing without wireless and without any other app 'mnemonics' is at the moment but only with the above-mentioned HP printers available, is planned with time but a massive expansion. Apple has already released some of the required specifications, but until now no other printer manufacturers made use of to their own devices AirPrint making capability. So I recommend you if you are not having any printer then go for the hp printer among one which I listed above and install airprint.

    Re: Airprint with mac os x 10.6.5

    To use the airprint in any version some fo the basic requirements to use this are like, The system requires to have a printer connected to the Wi-Fi printing emitting device. So far, only HP has officially announced that its range of HP printers ePrint be prepared to offer support for Airprint. To perform this test print, needed a Wi-Fi Printer, Mac OS X 10.6.5 beta and cited IOS version 4.2 at its iPad. Such trial is scary, so it would not be too fantastic to think of a software update at all levels with the emergence of new IOS. Striking at the very least, the drop-down control center incorporates print.

    Airprint will automatically locate printers on local networks and allow wireless printing text, images and graphics over wireless not including installing drivers or software need to download. This application however will offer assistance on the part ahead of the printer that was formerly only announced for ePrint enabled printers from HP. This includes devices in series HP Photosmart, Officejet, Officejet and Laserjet pro-family. In addition, devices with iOS 4.2 Even access to printers, which are using a PC or Mac on the network. The beta of 4.2 is iOS with Airprint currently only available to registered iPhone developers.
