EPUB book reader for apple ipad

I am not able to read ePub books on my newly purchased Apple iPad 3G device. I simply tried by download the book into my MAC OSX compatible Apple desktop computer, and drag and drop then to the Books directory in iTunes but this also not worked. Is there any one having any idea regarding this? Any other reader which will help me to download or read the book in my ipad device? Any input regarding this topic will be appreciated greatly.

I recommend you to look for the information regarding Calibre ebook reader, this mainly designed for ebook reader in apple devices, other related devices. Besides the mere conversion of text files can be managed with Calibre e-books, with various e-readers (though not with the iPad) synchronize and transform news feeds in e-books. It supports many file formats, including like Stanza and converted to various e-book formats, including EPUB. First you need to transfer the file to be converted into the book library. Now click on "Add Books" allows you to import different formats. The export is "Convert to eBooks" on the button. There you can specify the particular file format (EPUB), but also upload alternative cover and adjust formatting. The supposedly provided with anchor text table of contents lists at the click does not continue to scroll to the desired page, you must need to perform this manually. The display of the images included in the PDF file will only elementary. Also cannot deal easily with Calibre watermark - when I was tested with a PDF watermarks on each side of the page, these were added to the end of each page, which quickly turns a page two times, thus expanding the overall document unnecessary. Calibre value because of its adaptability at a glance.

There is another application which will surely help you to fulfill your requirements, known as eCube . eCube existing documents changed with a few clicks on EPUB files. The user interface itself is designed as very simple, easy to use them for that but not for long, like Stanza and Calibre. Epub format can also convert into Mobipocket (eg PDA, Amazon Kindle). After starting the application, create a project that can be supplied with the necessary information such as title, author, year etc. Then you decide whether you want to create a blank project, or would like to directly use a folder with files to create this. You can create EPUB files on base of legacy EPUB files, if desired. The next step is the selection of a book cover, which is then (in iPad) or in the relevant reader appear in the media management. Also eCube fails in the attempt, from an existing PDF with chapter markers, images and other media content eBook to make as working . You should put each chapter of the iPad Manuals single text files format, they will appeared a table of contents provided with many other features. In handling shows eCube not perceptive, at least as regards the import of many file formats. So, it will help you to import only, either in the Txt and various html files, but in fact it reads plain-text PDFs without any problems.
