An Alternative to create a shortcut to a folder

I don’t have good knowledge about mobile phones, and am aware of the basic functions of the device like text messaging and handling the call registry apart from that I cannot deal with other issues. So stories apart I have a file manager called as Astro. My friend helped me download the Astro file manager application few days back. Now the problem is somewhat unique as in my case, I am not able to create a shortcut of a particular folder. So how can I solve this problem, or can anyone suggest me a better file manager than the Astro. Even if anybody can throw some light on this application would be appreciated.

Astro File Manager is an application which can enhance the experience of your Android smartphone. Android is an operating system which is flexibly designed and is very user friendly, Astro provides you with the necessary tools to handle your mobile phone. You will definitely enjoy using your mobile phone having the Astro file manager. You can do various things like delete, rename, move or copy the files. I may be incorrect but I think the problem has something to do with the application called Anycut.

Astro file manager application allows you to move, copy, delete and rename various files and folders. You can even manage single or multiple files. Even if you get a call during an operation the actions will be finished properly. The Function of the process manager is to show all the running Services, Processes, and Applications. It has the ability to display all the running figures for each running application with the amount of memory space and CPU that the application has occupied. You can create shortcuts to files on your home screen, by long pressing the empty slot on the home page ( screen ), then go for shortcut, choose Astro and then do as you desire.
