    High-resolution display of Sony VPCZ11X9E

I am here to get some more notes about Sony VPCZ11X9E. The Sony Vaio Z-series was already in the past for an attractive mix of features, form factor and performance. This is where the current generation is no exception: Even here you have packed powerful components into an attractive 13-inch chassis and equipped with a Sony-typical design. I am getting this notebook from my friend who had hardly used it for three months. I was thinking to buy some another, but he told me that his requirements are more and looking for some another one. I just want to know about the high-resolution display (good thing) of Sony VPCZ11X9E along with some other details.

The 13.1-inch display uses LED-backlit display and a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. This is much more than you usually get with the standard 1366 x 768 on offer this diagonal. This makes the work, especially in the use of browsers that are more convenient. The otherwise become excessive scrolling required is reduced significantly. Individual subjects, the resolution appeared to be high, say, the display is too small, the bulk of the tester recorded the line resolution of 140 dpi as very pleasant. In terms of brightness, we saw the test devices have a maximum value of 267 cd / m² - that's a good result. To the uniformity of illumination, it is well ordered. We register in a corner of a maximum deviation of seven percent. In this respect, this is one of the best displays that we ever seen. For working in dark environments, you can turn down the brightness on up to 13 cd / sqm. This usually happens automatically, as is enabled by default, the brightness sensor. In practice, this test but never really met our desire brightness and was therefore disabled ado in the tool. The keyboard of the Sony Vaio Z is due to its Chiclet-like design an eye-catcher. The association "ZX Spectrum" was, at least with experienced colleagues. Indeed, the earliest with the Sony keyboard write wonderfully - however, it is a short settling-in period required. Thanks to the input unit design provides the high stability. Pressure point and stop the individual keys are managed. As a mouse is a touchpad with two buttons to use. Its precision is good, everything else would be at the high resolution but also difficult to accept. The buttons of the touchpad provide a satisfactory response. The keyboard is equipped with a (background) lighting that will make working in dark environments. As long as the illumination in writing breaks afterglow, can be set by Tool. Writers with writer's block can set the keyboard in the dark and illuminated in the long run.

The optical drive itself has no eject button, the Sony has moved to the top just above the actual keyboard. Sounds like a small measure, in everyday life but actually much more comfortable than the usual buttons on the side of the case. Our tester takes 1.39 kg on the scale. This is in view of the complete equipment is a good value for a notebook in the 13-inch format. Cable and power supply together weigh about 380 grams - that is a satisfactory result. The chassis of the Sony Z11 is very solid and that the same applies to the hinges of the display lid. This is somewhat unstable or less rigid. In the test device is a core i5 520M for the computing power in charge. The processor operates at 2.4 GHz, the maximum turbo frequency is 2.93 GHz. The two-core processor are 3 MByte Intel Smart Cache available, like the other "M" versions of the mobile core i5 series, this CPU at 35 watts specified. is integrated in particular, since these processors not only the memory controller, but the graphics into the processor, can the TDP values do not compare with those of the Core 2 Duo predecessors. The CPU works in the test notebook with 4 GB of DDR3 SDRAM.

The standard battery of the Sony Z11 has a capacity of 57 Wh, that is - at present - a common size. Those who establish a second or a spare battery will, must take into account for 160 euros. The maximum term is calculated as a structure that simulates a text entry. The system operates in the most economical Windows -scheme, the brightness of the display is set to zero. The keyboard light of the Sony we have disabled, as are all radio links. In the test, the Sony VPCZ11X9E reaching a period of eight hours and 39 minutes. This is a very decent value. This also illustrates the low power consumption of only an average of 6.5 watts in this mode. For such a notebook equipped with "normal" core i5 this very well.

Re: High-resolution display of Sony VPCZ11X9E

The two major human-machine interfaces, keypad and display, the Sony VPCZ11X9E achieved excellent results. And this is for a notebook not a bad start. There are also very good performance, which is in the 13-inch segment, not the rule. According operated sparingly, can be achieved with the notebook also very decent battery life. The portability is due to low weight - despite complete equipment - and slim body good. Criticism for reaping the notebook lid is not very stable. In addition, the Sony makes VPCZ11X9E under load and acoustically audible attention. In normal operation, the notebook, however, is as good as not to hear. Professional mobile users are served well with the laptop in any case, given the price but probably think about budget negotiations.
