Blackberry Curve 8300 : loses sound after installing OS 4.5.0.160

After installing 4.5.0.160 (automatically using the Desktop Manager - not a beta release), each few days my 8330 drop all sounds: do not ring and no application sound and no tones, Bluetooth headset has no sound, and so on. Pulling the battery furthermore rebooting fixes it, however it not at all did this earlier than 4.5.0.160. Has anybody else practiced this? Any thoughts on how to fix it? Your suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I am also having the similar problem through my Alltel 8330 subsequent to upgrading to 4.5.0.160 Do not recognize if they are linked however, I am having two major problem while the upgrade.
    1. The device freezes at random. Frequently whilst checking an email. However it has as well froze while making use of other applications. Anyhow, have to do a battery pull to get it going once more.
    2. I have observed that over and over again my ringtones do not play at what time I receive messages as well as calls. If I go into media player, I obtain an error message which states that the device media processor is full of activity. Once more, have to do a battery pull. This will not be an important thing if it just happened one time in a while. However, yesterday it take place three times.Anyone, have an thought what is going on and how to resolve it.

That is strange what you are both having such problem after upgrading. I will reinstall the Operating System once more, and make certain that the media card is taken out for the period of the upgrade. Backup phone data, Perform a clean installation of your OS. Allow the cell phone run for a while on the way to test if the whole thing is functioning well. After that restore only the essential databases from the backup you prepared (for example address book as well as calendar). Reinsert the media card furthermore observes if that causes the problems to start up once more.

Frequently upgrading the Operating system adds a few additional features, superior software by means of fewer bugs, better menus, and so on. Themes might or cannot alter however I cannot actually say for the reason that I have only used OS 4.5 I only be familiar with enough to be hazardous. From what I have read .160 is intended for ESN devices as well as .253 is intended for MEID devices.
