    Mobile Hotspot is not working

I am using Nokia N900 Recently I have installed Mobile Hotspot on it and its working quite well. I have installed on Maemo on my mobile phone. I have installed the software and restarted the phone. Now it simply prompting ‘loading kernel...’ I need to restart the phone again and again but still it’s not working. Even I am unable to reflash my phone. For your information I am using Wi-Fi to tramnsfer the files. I had damage USB port of the phone and soldered the same recently. Now tell me what should I do tyo overcome from this situation. I am waiting for your prompt reply.

You have to connect your phone with Console. You can use pins which are available under the battery of the phone. You have to try and see whether you can load necessary modules or not. Well I let you know that you consoles uses 5v logic hence you have to use either level shifter or ‘ftdi breakout cable’. I think you should try it and see that it helps you or not to solve your problem. Wish you good luck.

You can use the following instruction and see that it helps you or not
    1. You have to expand all the archived which are associated with SD card.
    2. You have to start your Nokia N900. You have to simply enter in to u-boot interactive console.
    3. Now you have to enter mmc init and press enter
    4. Now enter run loadbootscript and press enter
    5. Now enter run bootscript and press enter
    6. This will run Maemo with using stock PR1.3 kernel.

Let me know if you are having any query regarding this solution.

Well as far as I know you can leave the ID pin unconnected. It has only use for USB OTG. It will be quite easy to flash your phone once you have soldered D+ and D- lines of the USB port. Well if I have broken the USB port then I have to solder it. Most probably I will go with miniusb plug. You have to see that D+ and D- pins are connected in manner which it has to be. Also make sure that you have connected properly.
