I have gone through the news regarding the BlackBerry Torch 2. What i want is to know about the Specification, Release Date and Price of this mobile phone. Despite the limited success that has met with the Blackberry Torch 9800, RIM is already preparing his successor, logically dubbed the Blackberry Torch 2. With a design unchanged except matte silver finish, the BlackBerry Torch 2 is equipped with a capacitive touch screen 3.2 inch VGA resolution (640x480p) with a full sliding hardware keyboard and a processor running at 1.2 Ghz. This model quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE and tri-band HSPA will support 14.4Mbps hardware acceleration OpenGL ES and a GPS chip and NFC. It will offer 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory expandable to 32GB. It will feature a 5 megapixel camera with flash, a magnetometer used for the digital compass and a 1300mAh battery. The Torch 2 is compatible 3G/3G +, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and will run on BlackBerry OS 6.1. Blackberry Torch 2 will be available during the third quarter of 2011.

If you purchased your Blackberry Torch 9800, do not be sad (for now), the Torch 2 is not planned for now, but will still be sold by September 2011. This first update of the Blackberry 9800 Torch provides as good novelty, a faster processor (running at 1.2Ghz) enough to turn 6 without latency Blackberry!
